Annie Murphy

Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born on the 19th of December 1986. Her birthplace is Canada and works for the Hollywood film industry, where she worked on a variety of projects. Her most well-known work is her role as Alexis Rose in the CBC comedy series Schitt's Valley that which began in the year 2015 and ended in 2020. The critics praised her for the character she played and awarded her a Primetime Emmy Award. She was born to Ottawa Ontario Canada. She is the daughter of two educators. Elmwood School was her first choice for school in Ottawa, where she participated in numerous stage shows. Her next step was to enroll at Concordia University and pursue a stage performance diploma. After that, she took lessons in the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory where acting was taught. Then she moved into Los Angeles in her early teens and then began her journey into acting. Annie Murphy's acting career began in 2007 after she made her first appearance on television with the crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. After that, she continued to act in small roles as well as acting in extra. Some of the films had a great success, such as Story of Jen in 2008 Lick that came out in the year 2010 and another huge smash A Windigo Tale. Additionally, she appeared in Canadian television series like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. She seems to have the capability of working on many acting projects. Annie had to struggle at first to establish herself as an actress. Also, she worked hard to demonstrate her skills and gain recognition.
