Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is an American writer and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. In the past, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She appeared regularly of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by an MA in literature at the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl worked as a US attorney. She served as a legal correspondent for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the deputy chief investigative counsel for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee during Clinton's impeachment." She worked as a law professor with an appointment at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl served as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
